Obituary of Paul E. Rominger

Mr. Paul Everette Rominger, age 70, of Rominger Road, Banner Elk, died Thursday afternoon, May 6, 2010 at Watauga Medical Center. Born July 7, 1939 in Avery County, he was a son of the late Ernest and Norma Lee Hicks Rominger. Mr. Rominger was a retired from Broyhill Furniture and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of fifty years; Sue Harmon Rominger, two daughters; Sandra Dawn May and husband Tom of Sugar Grove, and Marlene Denise Rominger of Shelby, three grandsons; Adam Trivette and wife Becky and Jason Trivette and wife Kelly and Shane Rominger all of Banner Elk, three great grandsons; Isaiah Trivette, Devin Trivette and Damien all of Banner Elk, one special great granddaughter; Alea Trivette of Banner Elk, one sister; Helen Hawkins and husband Clyde of Lenoir and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death two sons; Dennis Lynn Rominger and Ronald Paul Rominger, one great granddaughter; Grace Trivette and one brother; Larry Dean Rominger.
Funeral services for Mr. Paul Everette Rominger will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Piney Grove Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. David Testerman, Rev. Richard Trivette and Preacher Kenneth Banner. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon prior to the service from 1 until 2 o'clock at the church.
