Elsa Winter Freed, infant daughter of Mark and Sunnee Stadel Freed of
Tom Jackson Road, Boone, passed away Friday at the Watauga Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Iyla Dee Freed; her maternal grandparents, Dallas Stadel of Lansing, Michigan and Trudy Stadel of Chisago, Minnesota; paternal grandparents, Benjamin and Debra Freed of Clarion, Pennsylvania; maternal great-grandmother, Madelene Goodemoot of East Lansing, Michigan; and her maternal great-grandparents, Dale and Valdene Norwood of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
A number of aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral services for Elsa Winter Freed will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o�clock at the Boone Mennonite Brethren Church, officiated by Rev. Morris Hatton. Additional parking will be available at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. The family will have a reception Sunday afternoon at 4 o�clock at the Tabernacle Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, located on Castle Ford Road.
