Obituary of Tommy Wright

Mr. Charles Thomas �Tommy� Wright, age 20, of Blowing Rock, died Sunday afternoon, March 21, 2010 in Marion. Born April 4, 1989 in Watauga County, he was the son of Tom and Dayna Aldridge Wright. Tommy was a member of FaithBridge United Methodist Church where he served as a youth counselor and was a member of the praise band. He also assisted with the youth at Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church. Tommy was a member of the Blowing Rock Fire & Rescue and was attending Caldwell Community College to become a paramedic. Surviving are his parents; Dayna and Tom Wright of Blowing Rock, one sister; Lindsay Wright of Blowing Rock, his maternal grandparents; Charles & Mary Tom Aldridge of Burnsville, his paternal grandmother; Barbara Lentz Wright of Blowing Rock, his paternal grandfather Thomas Wright and wife Carol, four aunts & uncles; Kim & Bob Adams of Wilmington, Becky & Mike Steele of Blowing Rock, Cyndee and Kenneth Wright of Blowing Rock and Chuck and Carole Aldridge of Burnsville, a special friend and cousin, Thomas Steele of Blowing Rock, and a number of cousins. Memorial services for Mr. Tommy Wright will be conducted Wednesday evening at 5 o�clock at Boone United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Marianne Romanat. The family will receive friends following the service at Boone United Methodist Church.
