Obituary of David L. Winebarger

Mr. David Lee Winebarger, age 54, of Cow Camp Road, Newland, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at Watauga Medical Center. Born February 6, 1959 in Adrian Michigan, he was a son of the late Nick and Gertrude Turbyfill Winebarger. David worked at Mountain View Correctional Institute and was a member of the Linville Central Rescue Squad.
He is survived by his wife; Clara Ward Winebarger, two sons; W. L. Winebarger and wife Jessica of Newland and Shawn Aldridge and wife Catherine of Deep Gap, two grand children; Emma and Coby Aldridge, four brothers; Buddy and Allan Winebarger both of Newland, Bruce Winebarger of Marion and Bobby Winebarger of Burnsville, one sister; Brenda Stanley of Newland and his mother in law; Ella Mae Ward of Vilas, and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters; Nancy, Evelyn and Tina Winebarger.
Services for Mr. David Lee Winebarger will be held at a later date.
