Obituary of Grace R. Fogle

Mrs. Grace Roberta Fogle, age 89, of Shadowline Drive, Boone, died Thursday afternoon, October 1, 2009 at Watauga Medical Center. Born December 20, 1919 in Glendale, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Robert Martin and Patience Marie Gillespie Chaddock. Grace retired from Eastern Airlines as an executive reservationist. She moved to Boone eight years ago, after living in Hialeah and Key Largo, Florida. Grace was a member of Boone United Methodist Church. Surviving are: one son; Bob Fogle and wife Carolyn of Boone, one grandson; Shawn Fogle and wife Anita, one granddaughter; Andrea Sapienza and husband Richard of Chapel Hill, one great grandson; Cameron Fogle of Boone and a special friend, Alma Hartley of Boone. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Leonard Fogle and an infant son, Lennie Fogle. A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Grace Roberta Fogle will be held Thursday October 8, at 1:30 at Boone United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
