Obituary of Maxine M. Sullivan

Mrs. Maxine McLarty Sullivan, age 95, of 369 Blairmont Drive, Boone, died Sunday morning, September 6, 2009 at Glenbridge Healthcare & Rehabilitation. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, March 14, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Dewitt and Ruth Spence McLarty. Maxine was a graduate of Stetson University and a retired Elementary School teacher. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Surviving are: two sons; John B. Sullivan, Jr., and wife Linda of Boone and Patrick Ray Sullivan and wife Pam of Orlando, Florida; four grandsons; John B. Sullivan, III, Sean Michael Sullivan, Clayton Salter Sullivan and Andrew Sullivan, and one brother; John Dewitt McLarty of Port Orange, Florida. Memorial services for Mrs. Maxine McLarty Sullivan will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o�clock at Grace Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Smith. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
