Obituary of Larry H. Winebarger

Larry Henry "Red" Winebarger, age 70 of North Fairview Drive, Lenoir, died Friday morning, August 28th, 2009 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. He was born March 18, 1939 in Watauga County to Henry Alfred and Burlie Reece Winebarger. Red was of the Baptist faith and retired as a long distance truck-driver. Mr. Winebarger is survived by; his daughter, Candy Winebarger, and one son, Jeff Hamby, both of Lenoir; three grandchildren, Dakota, Cheyanna and Hunter Meskewit, all of Lenoir; one sister, Jewel Greer and husband, Curtis, and one brother, Randy Winebarger, all of Boone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lewie Winebarger Funeral services will be conducted Sunday evening at 6 o'clock at the Austin & Barnes Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Larry Griffin. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 until 6 o'clock, one hour prior to services, at Austin & Barnes. Burial will be private.
