Obituary of Ruel E. Bursey

Mr. Ruel Elvis Bursey, age 93, of Clyde Townsend Road, Boone, died Tuesday night at Watauga Medical Center. Surviving are: one daughter, Rose Guthrie of Boone, one son, Charles Bursey of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, one grandson; Brent Bursey and wife Julie of Chantilly, Virginia and one granddaughter; Laura Elnitski of Gaithersburg, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his wife Vera Patterson Bursey, one son in law, Bill Guthrie and one daughter in law Shirley Bursey. Funeral services for Mr. Ruel Elvis Bursey will be conducted Friday evening at 7 o�clock at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Scott Fuller. The family will receive friends Friday evening one hour prior to the service from 6 o�clock until 7 o�clock at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial will follow at a later date at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Springville, Tennessee.
