Obituary of William B. Harris

Mr. William Bradley Harris, Jr. age 68, of Ravens View, Boone, died Monday morning, April 13, 2009 at home. Born June 22, 1940 in Wadsworth, Ohio, he was a son of the late William B. Harris, Sr., and Elsie Workman Harris. Mr. Harris was a retired social worker, having worked with the Bethlehem Community Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Bill was a member at Boone United Methodist Church where he was active in the Angel Food Ministry and the Senior Adult Coordinator. Bill was also active in the AARP. Surviving are his wife; Louise Harris, one daughter; Ann McKay and husband John of Columbia, South Carolina, one son; David Harris and wife Amy of West Jefferson, three granddaughters; Audrey Harris, Crystal and Monica McKay. Memorial services for Mr. William Bradley Harris, Jr. will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o�clock at Boone United Methodist Church, officiated by Dr. George Naff. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon immediately following the services.
