Charles Robert Loretto, age 75, of Clear View Lane, Boone, died Saturday afternoon, March 14, 2009 at his home. He was born May 20, 1933 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Charles and Ann Richter Loretto. Mr. Loretto was a veteran of the US Army, and was a retired structural engineer.
He is survived by; his wife, Mildred S. Loretto of the home, one son, Robert Loretto and wife Judith and two grandchildren, Kira and Krissa Loretto, all of Toms River, New Jersey, and his son-in-law, Stan Michael of Jacksonville, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Michael.
Services for Charles Robert Loretto will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to High Country Health Care System hospice, 400 Shadowline Drive, Suite 100-B, Boone, NC 28607 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
