Obituary of Elizabeth M. Trivette

Elizabeth Betsy Trivette, 63, of Boone, NC, passed away June 3, 2019, at her farmhouse with her son, Adam, and friend, Emily, by her side. Betsy was born July 25, 1955, in Lake Worth, FL, to Leo Bennett Fain and Sarah Montgomery Fain. She was a loving mother, friend, nurse and care-giver, avid reader, hippie, and natural childbirth enthusiast. Her spirit departed in the exact location in her home that she birthed her son, 41 years prior. She loved going to the movies with family and honorary son, Tony Hicks, and to concerts with her children. She may have grown up in sunny Florida, but she quickly became a Blue Ridge Mountain Mama. She is survived by her son, Adam Trivette of Delray Beach, FL; daughter, Leah Trivette of Asheville, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Laurel and Kenneth Jones of Delray Beach, FL; grandsons, Kye and Ronin Jones of Delray Beach, FL; ex-husband and life-long friend, Billy Trivette of Boone, NC; sister, Malinda Cesario of PA and FL; sister, Sarah Browne of AL; nieces and nephew, Malinda, Sarah, and Clayton Browne of AL; honorary daughters, Grace Francica of Catawba, NC, and Emily Pisani of West Palm Beach, FL; and dear friend, Maryanne Singleton of Lake Worth, FL. She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Fain of Lake Worth, FL; mother, Sarah Fain of Boone, NC; and nephew, Johnny Clifton of The Villages, FL. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Betsy will be held at Julian Price Memorial Park (Boone Fork Parking Lot) on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Blowing Rock, NC, on Thursday, July 25, 2019.
