Obituary of Judy K. Greer

Mrs. Judith Kilgour "Judy" Greer, age 70, of Farthing Street, Boone, passed away Thursday evening, February 7, 2013 at Watauga Medical Center. Born August 24, 1942 in Braddock, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Thelma Mulholland Kilgour. Judy was a member of Rutherwood Baptist Church and was retired from TRW. She is survived by her husband; Robert M. "Bob" Greer, two daughters; Ladonna Shore and husband J. C. of Blowing Rock, and Robin Simpson of Gainesville, Florida, three grandchildren; Ryan Harris of Columbus, Ohio, Brittany Purvis and husband Josh of Gainesville, and Ashley Craig and husband Matt of Blowing Rock, one great granddaughter; Natalie Purvis, two sisters; JoAnn Hicks of Waynesboro, Tennessee and Dorothy "Dolly" Cushman of Stuart, Florida. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister; Patricia Groce. Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Greer will be conducted Sunday evening at 7 o'clock at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Seth Norris. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6 o'clock until 7 o'clock.
