Terry Joel Saunders, Sr. Born February 26, 1966, age 52 of Jefferson North Carolina went to be with the Lord on July 4th, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy, his son Terry Jr., his daughter Kaitlyn, his brother Gary, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Terry was originally from Baltimore, Maryland. He was a self employed businessman. He owned TJ&K Home Improvement and took pride in his work. His free time revolved around NASCAR, golfing, and spending time with his children. Private services will be held at a later date per Terrys wishes. Family and friends will be notified. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family in care of Austin and Barnes Funeral Home in Boone to cover funeral expenses.
