Obituary of Rives Crump

Mr. Charles Rives Crump, Jr., of Boone, lost his battle with polyarteritis nodosa on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 12:38 PM. Born July 5, 1966 in Forsyth County, he was the son of the late Charles Rives Crump, Sr., and Susan Whitney Crump. Rives is survived by his wife, P. Pamela Chanthaboury, his daughter, Sofia Crump, his mother, Susan Crump, his grandmother, Evelyn West, two step brothers and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services for Mr. Rives Crump will be conducted Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 11 am at the First Presbyterian Church in Boone. Officiating will be Rev. Jeff Smith and Rev. Jeff Sweeney. The family will receive friend following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Deerfield United Methodist Church Youth Group, 1187 Deerfield Road, Boone, NC 28607 or to the First Presbyterian Church Deacon Fund, 131 Big Valley Street, Boone, NC 28607.
