Obituary of Beatrice D. Norris

Mrs. Beatrice Dubois Norris, age 73, of Boone passed away Friday night, April 27, 2018 at her home. Born March 3, 1945 in Beaufort, SC, she was a daughter of the late Alton and Loretta Pervis Dubois. Mrs. Norris was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Scott Norris and wife Brooks of Deep Gap, six grandchildren, Josh Norris and wife Jessica, Dylan Norris and wife Sadie, Connor Munday, Wesley Johnson, Robbie Minton and Rickey Norris, five great grandchildren, Jaxtin, Jaydin and Josey Norris, Hunter Johnson and Emory Minton, two brothers, Jerry Dubois and Perry Dubois and wife Erma. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raevon Norris, one son and daughter in law, Richard Norris and wife Arlene, three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Dubois Norris will be conducted Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 4 PM at South Fork Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 pm until 4 pm. At other times friends may call at the home of Scott and Brooks Norris, 487 H. Stanley Miller Road, Deep Gap, NC 28618. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to help offset expenses. Burial will follow in the Norris Tabernacle Cemetery.
