Kenneth Thomas Miller, Sr., age 58, of Indian Grave Road, Lenoir, passed away Monday morning, February 5, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Born July 18, 1959 in Watauga County, he was a son of Allie Baxter and Clemmie Alice Miller. Kenneth was a long time carpenter with Weaver Construction Company. He was a �people person� who saw the good in everyone. Kenneth loved spending time with his family, enjoyed working, listing to blue grass music, and was always ready to sit down to a good meal with family and friends.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carolyn Coffey Miller; daughter, Mary Nelson and husband, Bryon, of Boone; his father and mother-in-law Troy and Mary Coffey of Boone; two grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters, a number of nieces and nephews, special sister-in-law, Doris Miller; special niece, Jeanie Miller; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Thomas Miller, Jr.; parents, Allie and Clemmie Miller; and ten brother.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning, February 10th at 11 o�clock at the Austin & Barnes Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Nathan Caparolie. Graveside services will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Blowing Rock. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 until 8 o�clock at Austin & Barnes.
