Death Certificate
Austin & Barnes Funeral Home and Crematory will file the death certificate with the appropriate agencies and ultimately with the Register of Deeds in the county of death (as required). Certified copies may be obtained through the funeral home or from the (county) Register of Deeds. For legal purposes you may need multiple certified copies; the current North Carolina cost is $10.00 per copy and $15.00 per copy in Tennessee.
